Managing Patent Portfolios

Bringing Concepts to reality

"The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled,... the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take the first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream."

                                                                                                                                        - Les Brown

In 2013 we began our journey with a vision and concept that would solve a 400-year-old mechanical flaw that the firearm industry had just learned to accept and live with.

The journey to make that concept a reality has been long and educating; resulting in multiple patents, temporary failures and lasting successes, but most importantly the experience needed to help ourselves and others make our visions a reality and bring game-changing innovations to the marketplace.

Now, after 10 years with multiple patents and business deals under our belts, we draw upon our experience to help innovative people like ourselves, more effectively navigate the arduous patent process.

Managing Patent Portfolios

Maintaining Patents

After a patent has been approved, there is a whole new world of maintaining, defending, and monetizing the new innovation.

Building Networks

Understanding the industry a patent revolutionizes is important; however making and building a network of associates, mentors, friends, and partners within that industry is vital to the successful launch and monetization of the patent.

Developing Business Opportunities

Identifying the right business partners is critical to the successful monetization of a patent.  Approaching those individuals and cultivating that relationship requires integrity and respectful assertiveness.

Negotiating Licensing Agreements

Experience is the best teacher; however no one wants their lessons to cost them a business deal or leave money on the table.  That is why it is critical to ensure you do your due diligence before the negotiations, and where possible partner with the right expert to help you secure your interests.
